The Things Kids Say… 24/07/10

Today’s quote is from my 4 year old daughter and gave me a smile this morning…

Mom, I don’t feel very good but I’m able to play games of course. ~ EBS

Her quote made me think of the times in my life when I was little and didn’t feel good but was able to do something that I really wanted to. Or the times as an adult when I didn’t feel very good and HAD to do something. I liked the earlier times much better!

Looking back I tried to remember what made me able to do those things I so wanted to even when I was not feeling the best. Childhood innocence? Pure excitement? Anticipation? Not wanting to be left out? Whatever it was I’d love to bottle that up and drink a six-pack or two right now and share with all of you!
